crazy, right ?? it's 4 months to the day that i landed in shanghai, china . . .i never thought i would have been able to experience so much and do so many things in such a short amount of time. especially in a foreign city !
at first i found it impossible to learn chinese, but now i'm doing alright ! in fact, i think i'm doing pretty well for myself :) i can give directions, order food, make comments, and hold down a quick 2 minute conversation ! not too bad, not too bad.
the photo above is from the top of the pearl tower in pudong : you see that sea of buildings and smog? yep, it's where i think i will be spending the next year of my life . . if things go according to plan, i will be here for longer than expected. more work, more school, more work. but i love it !

i'm hoping as of tomorrow to start doing at least 1, if not 2 posts a day. i get a lot of feedback about my blog, and a lot of interest . . so why not post more ?? :)
anyways, thanks again to everyone i have met here : you are all truly amazing people and have taught me so much. and most importantly, thanks to my loving family : mom, dad, and bailey for all of the loving support.
